Initially the main thing for me in this work, was to document the inner life of the „Lebensalter“ („Age“)-fountain at Berlin Wittenbergplatz.

Throughout this process i discovered beauty and an emotional connection, in the continuous decay of these self-indulgent fountain sculptures, due to an abundance of water.

I felt a strong gravitation towards the occurring oxidization and microcosms inside. Such as for the local pigeons, who use the fountain as a mo(u)rning-meeting point.
